OpenGDS Connectivity Details

This guide describes which functions of OpenGDS are supported and what special features hotels need to consider.

1. Supported functions​

  • Basic allocation (incl. individual allocation)
  • CTA (Closed to Arrival)
  • CTD (Closed to Departure)
  • MinLos (Minimum stay)
  • MaxLos (Maximum stay)

2. Unsupported functions​

  • Additional Adults (no surcharges possible)
  • Children with age groups (no children's prices)
  • MinLosThru (minimum stay through a specific date)
  • MaxLosThru (maximum stay through a specific date)

3. Special Logic – MinLos & CTA​

The following rule applies to the control of minimum stay and travel restrictions:

  • If MinLos = 99 → we automatically set CTA = 0 (arrival not possible).
  • If MinLos ≠ 99 → we automatically set CTA = 1 (arrival allowed).

4. Summary for Hotels​

  • Make sure you only maintain the supported parameters.
  • Prices and availability must be calculated on base allocation.
  • Child rates and surcharges for additional adults cannot be displayed.
  • Minimum and maximum stays are fully supported, however without thru-rules.
  • The MinLos-to-CTA logic is automatically applied by the system.
